“The worst things Epstein and Maxwell did to me weren't physical, but psychological.  From the start, they manipulated me into participating in behaviors that ate away at me, eroding my ability to comprehend reality and preventing me from defending myself.  From the start, I was groomed to be complicit in my own devastation.  Of all the terrible wounds they inflicted, that forced complicity was the most destructive… There were no bars on the windows or locks on the doors. But I was a prisoner trapped in an invisible cage.” – Nobody’s Girl

On August 10, 2019, convicted felon Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in his cell following yet another arrest tied to sex trafficking of girls, many of them underage.  Less than six years later, another suicide, by his victim, Virginia (Jenna) Roberts Giuffre, would ignite another round of outrage over the men who had yet to be publicly outed.  By the time of Epstein’s death, his victim count would grow to more than 1000.

In Virginia Roberts Giuffre’s 2025 book, “Nobody’s Girl”, Giuffre details her life as a sexual abuse victim, beginning with her own father, his father’s friend, and two sex trafficking rings that ended with Epstein.  By targeting girls who had no one who cared for them, who were often poor and vulnerable, Epstein and other wealthy and powerful men used and abused girls as young as 14.

From mid-2000 until the end of 2002, Jenna would be groomed, abused, used, and raped by Jeffrey Epstein, his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell, and many of their friends and acquaintances from some of the highest offices in the world.  The list included a Governor, a scientist, a high-profile lawyer, a former Senator, a couple of billionaires, and a Prince.

Plucked from Mar-a-Lago by Maxwell, Jenna’s job interview would end in her first assault by the 47-year-old Epstein, when she was just 16.  Maxwell, the party planner, procured girls as young as 14, often referring to them as her children.  Presenting themselves as mentors, not predators, many saw Epstein as a life preserver from their daily drudgery.  Having already been abused by others, more abuse did not seem unusual.  Therefore, many returned for the money and other perceived opportunities that they couldn’t find elsewhere.

The Epstein/Maxwell duo used a similar playbook to acquire girls.  They offered them jobs as masseuses, even if they had no experience.  They were brought to the house, where Maxwell taught the girls to massage Epstein, and then were assaulted, often by both Epstein and Maxwell.  They were paid $200 for each encounter and offered double the money if they brought a friend.  Some were threatened if they exposed what went on in the house.

Trafficking girls for wealthy men was likely organized for future favors or blackmail, as Epstein kept a library of videos from bedrooms and bathrooms equipped with cameras.  Epstein viewed girls of menstruation age to be fair game, as they were old enough to have children of their own.  He also viewed the mishmash of majority ages throughout the world as proof that there was no real agreement on what a minor was. Epstein also considered impregnating his conquests to form a super race.

After Epstein's initial arrest in 2006, a judge would allow a plea deal for two counts of solicitation of prostitution of minors despite investigators identifying 30 victims, after a search of his South Florida property revealed hordes of naked females.  Since the girls had little opportunity for justice, many were encouraged to seek retribution through civil suits.  Hundreds of settlements were made, followed by an additional 125 million paid to 150 more victims, paid by his estate following his death.  Ghislaine Maxwell, in 2021, would also face her day in court for the recruiting, grooming, and abuse of girls, resulting in a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking.

Despite the Trump campaign’s promises to expose the perpetrators, Trump would instead dismiss the case as a Democrat Hoax.  After meeting with Maxwell, Trump administration officials would even have her moved to a cushier facility.  But by early September 2025, Congressman Thomas Massie would have had enough, filing a discharge petition forcing the release of the Epstein files.  By mid-November, Massie had enough signatures to demand a vote in Congress.  With both the House and the Senate overwhelmingly voting in the affirmative, Trump had no choice but to sign the bill into law.  The content of the Epstein file must now be released, in full, on Friday, December 19, 2025, by Trump’s Department of Justice.

Will the men who, along with Epstein, used and abused girls finally be exposed?  After 20 years of waiting, we will soon find out.
