In 2003, South Korean economist, Dr. Ha-Joon Chang published a prize-winning book, “Kicking Away the Ladder”, in which Chang condemns developed nations for their ladder-kicking practices that prevent developing countries from attaining progress, hence removing the same ladder that they once used to climb their own way to the top. The metaphoric ladder serves as a vehicle for achievement, with each rung bringing new heights until ultimate success is realized. Now, international elites, under the cloak of sustainable development are too, having already attained wealth and independence, devising their own plan to once again pull up the ladder to prevent others from rising. Indeed, the World Economic Forum (WEF) seeks to do that very thing in its recent unveiling of the Great Reset ruse.
Emboldened by the economic stagnation brought about by a draconian response to the COVID pandemic, world elites, led by German engineer and economist, Klaus Schwab, now propose to implement a similar top-down take-down of society in the hopes of cutting population tallies in their valiant attempt to save the planet. In doing so, they are promising a slow slide backward, a reduction in material wealth, especially for first world western nations, with their entire raison d’etre built on the lie of environmental catastrophe and out-of-control population growth.
In Michael Rectenwald’s 2023 book, “The Great Reset”, Rectenwald exposes the plans of unelected technocrats who intend to restructure society to their betterment and our harm. Using climate change as the trojan horse to bring about a reduced standard of living for all, the new one world government will more easily implement needed changes in policy and behavior. By bringing together corporations, non-governmental organizations, and the moneyed class into a public-private (fascistic) scheme, a few at the top will thrive while the majority at the bottom wither.
Every year, elites meet to conspire against the masses at an invitation-only shindig of excess and privilege at Davos, Switzerland, a playground for the rich and famous. The host of the event, the WEF, was borne of the Rhodes Society formed in the late eighteenth, and early nineteenth century. It was here that Cecil John Rhodes, a Brit, attempted to create the first secret society to bring about a new world state using the British empire as its ideal.
The main global challenges identified by the WEF are unsustainable economic growth, environmental degradation, and inequality. To corral people to their plan, Schwab and his peers have created a Great Narrative, the fairy tale that will lead to the implementation of the Great Reset. By relaying one set of facts (theirs), they hope to promote a singular solution, at the exclusion of all others. In fact, UN General, Antonio Guterres, recently said “politicians need to shape public opinion by making unpopular decisions”. Suggesting that they will decide what the design will be and how the plan will be executed.
The Great Reset at its core is a quest for control. With plans for digital currency, digital identity, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) scores for both corporations and individuals, these prized sorting mechanisms will separate the compliant from the dissenters. Promising an ownerless, landless, meatless existence, globalists are working in close collaboration with a woke monopoly of corporations to end both capitalism and representative democracies.
It is the arrogance of the elite central planners, to think they are capable of designing society. Yuval Noah Harari, a WEF spokesman claimed, “God is dead and the WEF is acquiring divine powers of creation and destruction”. An apparent aristocratic dictatorship moving the levers to rule over an egalitarian underclass. While COVID was a practice run that failed to bring about their planned utopia, the WEF is now promising a cyberattack within the next two years—another opportunity to get it right, no doubt.
In the 2012 film series, The Hunger Games, twelve districts battled the capital city, after being stripped of their resources and labor. While the capital regime lived in wealth and technological advances, the districts barely got by. If Klaus and his buddies get their way, we might be looking for our own set of tributes, willing to stand for our freedoms.
