Today, more than two years following the first hint of COVID trouble, and after scores of foolish mandates and interventions, the tide appears to be turning. In October 2022, the New York Supreme Court ruled that city employees who had been fired for refusing the COVID vaccine must be reinstated with full back pay. And now, a progressive journalist is calling for pandemic amnesty for all the mistaken decisions, and mistreatment of those who declined the risky jab. These are surely the first of many apologies yet to be made. But is this all too little too late? Are the concessions genuine, or just cover for all the evil the authoritarians can no longer hide?
And then there is Mr. Science himself, NIAID Director Anthony Fauci, who led the COVID debacle. While the world burned, Fauci’s star rose. From photo shoots, superhero dolls, and a Netflix special, America’s top doctor ate it up. Bragging about the Fauci effect that drove interest in medical school applications, Fauci’s own oath to do no harm, now appears to have done more harm than good. Now comes news that Fauci will officially retire in December 2022, likely due to fears of a Republican majority in Congress with new subpoena power. With an estimated net worth of 10.4 million, Fauci leaves his position with a record 23 lifetime royalty checks from Big Pharma.

Almost from the beginning, scientists and doctors risked their careers to oppose not only prescribed COVID protocols and treatments, but also the political response of lockdowns and masking. A debate over where the virus originated, birthed the first claims of denialism. After years of contradictions and cover-ups, we now know that Fauci’s role in the funding of gain-of-function likely contributed to the pandemic itself. In fact, fears that his fingerprints would be discovered all over the Wuhan lab led Fauci and his cronies to use burner phones to communicate outside of detection. It is now certain that the coronavirus was cooked up in a lab, and then was either deliberately leaked or spread through incompetence.
But the main story of the Fauci era is the incestuous relationship that Fauci nurtured between Big Pharma and his government agencies, all at the expense of the health and safety of the American public. In response to COVID, Fauci's first sin was the nixing of low-cost therapeutics like Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin, treatments that nations around the globe used to cut hospitalizations and deaths. Fauci instead focused on new medications and vaccines, both with less efficacy. Indeed, Dr. Peter McCullough, vice chief of internal medicine at Baylor University Medical Center, claimed that 85 percent of COVID deaths could have been prevented via early treatment using therapeutics that Fauci prohibited and demonized. Fauci went so far as recalling their supplies, ending emergency use authorizations, and ordering doctors to stop writing prescriptions, knowing that under federal law, no new vaccines or medicines can qualify for emergency use if an existing drug was already available to do the job. Fauci would go on to downplay natural immunity as, that too, conflicted with his vaccine narrative.
But he didn’t do it all alone. Without any medical credentials to speak of, but plenty of cash, billionaire Bill Gates bought his way into places he didn’t belong. Now the Gates/Fauci duo controls the majority of global biomedical funds, making researchers beholden to them. The Gates philanthropic foundation is the top funder of the World Health Organization contributing an equal amount as the United Kingdom during the 2020-2021 period. Out of 23 global health institutions, Gates is also the sole or top funder of 16 of them. With this newfound influence, Gates diverted the WHO away from a focus on clean water, nutrition, and economic development, and replaced it with a directive to advance vaccines as a sole solution to all social ills.
When it came to the COVID pandemic, the script was already written by the public health departments and global institutions who have been play-acting multiple simulations at Gates's direction over several decades. Their focus was never on improving individual health through exercise, vitamins, and healthy eating. Instead, its emphasis was on how to implement martial law to exact compliance, how to use quarantine and mandates to control life, and how to exact propaganda to incite fear and stifle dissent through censorship.
And their gold mine was vaccines themselves. In 1986, The National Childhood Vaccine Inquiry Act gave financial immunity to Big Pharma, including all mandated vaccines for children. In its place, a federal no-fault system was erected to compensate for any vaccine injuries using taxpayer money. The results were a surge in vaccines, first for children, then for adolescence, and now for adults. The Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) began in 1990, to whom all injuries and deaths following a vaccine are to be reported. For COVID, the number of deaths ironically increased as the vaccine was rolled out, and despite continual boosters, the jabs did not stop infections or aid in limiting the spread as promised. In fact, VAERs complaints for COVID alone are more than all combined vaccines over the past 30 years. Now comes news that Pfizer won’t provide their clinic trial data for 75 years, that is, until most, if not all affected by the vaccine will be long dead. This is unsurprising considering a Pfizer whistleblower has now exposed fraud in their 6-month vaccine trials. While more died in the vaccine group than in the placebo group, this group is also four times more likely to have heart attacks than their unvaccinated peers.
While the lies, the coverups, and the misinformation over COVID are finally seeing the light of day, there is much work to be done. Skepticism is a natural part of science; all voices must be heard.
