“After all the frowns and condescending comments from health professionals and others in the world, there is vindication in knowing we are not crazy. It is a contradiction in itself to say that vaccines are unequivocally safe while the federal court exists to adjudicate the injuries and death.” – Bad Reaction
By the end of 2024, vaccine injury claims from the COVID-19 vaccine produced 27 times more claims than the previous decade of the program for injuries from medication provided during a public health emergency. Over 13,000 claims, less than a quarter, have been adjudicated with only 3 percent receiving compensation.
Another program, the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act which began in 1986, includes compensation for the medical needs of injuries from recommended childhood vaccines and has already paid out over 5 billion in compensation for injuries seemingly tied to the vaccine. Yet, the federal government, in 60 percent of the payouts, refuses to acknowledge the vaccine's role in the injuries.
A tax of $.75 per shot funds this compensation account. Since drugmakers have full immunity from injuries and death from their medications, none of the compensation comes from them. To assist families with children who have severe disabilities from medications, state and county governments also fund programs, all paid for by taxpayers, and not from Big Pharma.
Initially, judges overseeing the funds worked on behalf of injured patients, and claims were cleared promptly by default. Within a year, however, due to a lack of resources, DOJ lawyers began to adjudicate claims as defenders for the vaccine makers by arguing against vaccine injury diagnoses. Since then, receiving compensation from a federal fund can take years of waiting and chronic hoop-jumping, including repeated requests for tests, and blood work, before claims are finally approved.
In Sarah Bridges' 2016 book, “Bad Reaction”, Bridges tells the personal story of her son, Porter, and his downward spiral following his 4-month wellness check that included 8 vaccination shots. After developing a high fever, and suffering from a 90 minute Grand Mal seizure, his journey would require several medications, and result in diagnoses for epilepsy, permanent brain damage, and eventually autism. After a 7 year battle with the federal compensation fund, the family finally received financial recompense. Their story not only reveals the ongoing treatment for Porter but also its effect on the family, which all too predictably led to divorce.
The federal childhood vaccine recommendations, which began in the late 1940s, are the only mandated drugs all children must receive. In 1950, there were 4 vaccines available for children. Children could expect to receive 5 shots by the time they were 2 years old but not more than one per visit. Now, children can receive as many as 27 shots by the age of 2, with multiple shots per visit. Yet, even after parents sign release forms for the vaccines that specifically indicate that vaccines have side effects, persistent denials from medical staff continue. While repeating that vaccines don’t have side effects, and that indeed, vaccines are safe, Porter’s hospital record read, “brain injury from pertussis vaccine”. And despite billions in payments, money from the vaccine industry shuts mouths. There is no research into why some children are affected and what might be done to lessen its impact. Instead, anyone saying otherwise is deemed an anti-vaxxer and conspiracy theorist.
Yet, evidence abounds, in research findings, court cases, and from the mouths of doctors. A 2013 immunization study revealed that 50 percent of children diagnosed by the vaccine court had autism. Many researchers, in fact, have named vaccines as a significant contributing cause of autism. In RFK, Jr’s. book, “The Real Anthony Fauci”, Kennedy recounts a CDC safety scientist who claimed they were forced to lie to the public and destroy data regarding vaccine injuries.
Sharyl Attkisson, an independent investigative reporter, revealed how documents were sealed in the Hannah Poling case by the DOJ and HHS, who was compensated for her autism after receiving 9 vaccines in one visit. Years later, the case was leaked, and the vaccine-autism link was disclosed once again. In the 1970s, autism occurred in 1 in every 2000 births. Today, it is 1 in every 34. As Sharyl Attkisson reveals on her website and in her Substack pages, while the US government has paid billions in damages to vaccine-injured recipients, autism continues to be listed on the warning label of childhood vaccines. High-ranking CDC and NIH officials have acknowledged a vaccine-autism link, have admitted to trashing data from an MMR study that reviewed a higher-than-average vaccine-autism link in black babies, and conceded that the medical community has made an unethical decision not to study the vaccine-autism link.
Robert Kennedy, Jr. and his Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) movement hope to reverse this trend. Committed to returning scientific research and safety back into the Health and Human Services (HHS) department, as Secretary under the Trump Administration, Kennedy was the first glimmer of hope for families affected by adverse reactions to all vaccines and medication approved by the government.
