“The media hype, the fear mongering, the lack of objectivity, the manipulating of statistics, the ignoring of effective therapies, the censorship, and the propaganda have all been used before in other vaccine campaigns, like measles.”
– The Measles Book
In January 2025, a typical outbreak of the measles began in Texas, in a Mennonite community with low vaccine rates. By April, two children in Texas and one adult in New Mexico would be dead either FROM the measles or WITH the measles. As is often the case, the details remain sketchy. The specifics of the adult’s death went unreported, and extenuating circumstances regarding the second child show several hospitalizations for other illnesses before the child died of bacterial infection. A review of the first child’s death suggests medical neglect in determining accurate treatment.
The media, however, demanded no such details. To them, the measles outbreak was an opportunity to promote a public health emergency to advance the narrative for vaccines. The CDC immediately called for booster shots as a harmless remedy. Yet, much about vaccines and the diseases they hope to avoid has been stubbornly withheld from the public. For instance, individuals have become infected with measles from the vaccine, just as people got COVID from the COVID-19 vaccine. Others were infected through a process called shedding, where the live virus is spread to another through either an infection or the vaccine.
The truth is, like most contagious diseases, the effects of the measles steadily declined due to improvements in hygiene and sanitation more than a century ago, long before the introduction of a vaccine. Death rates from measles from 1900 to 1960 plummeted before the release of any measles vaccine. In 1961, there were just 261 deaths from measles. For most children, the measles is nothing more than a rash that disappears in days, with a 90 percent chance of no complications. Yet by 2018, 86 percent of children globally had received at least one dose of the measles vaccine.
As a result, the public remains skeptical, as vaccines have seen a decided decline since COVID, following claims that if you got the COVID vaccine, you couldn’t catch COVID or spread COVID, a double lie. Add to that a lack of findings for children killed and injured by vaccines as reflected in the government’s VAERS database, suggesting that vaccines are indeed risky for some people. All while critics continue to disparage alternative treatments, like Vitamin A for measles, just as they dismissed Ivermectin for COVID, calling it horse medicine to demonize those who were treated with it.
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., as Secretary of Health and Human Services in the Trump administration, has promised reforms. Smeared as an anti-vaxxer, Kennedy has long questioned the growing list of childhood vaccine mandates, from a few when he was a kid, to nearly 70 for today’s infants. He has questioned its testing standards, its lack of interest in investigating vaccine injuries and deaths, and lamented the government's overall absence of curiosity regarding exploding rates of autism.
In the 2021, Children’s Health Defense book, “The Book of Measles”, the CHD provides a comprehensive overview of the history of measles, its treatments, its decline, and the vaccine that followed. Chaired by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. from 2015 to 2023, the CHD is a nonprofit organization that provides education to the public about children’s health and risks associated with diseases and vaccines. Noting that measles is rarely life-threatening, its severity fell by more than 90 percent before the introduction of vaccines. The book’s focus on vaccines, with a special emphasis on measles, provides verifiable truths about vaccines that are being kept from parents and society, an obvious agenda by drug makers, doctors, and the media to keep vaccines profitable.
Significant is the different standards for testing between vaccines and other prescription drugs. For prescription drugs, double blind placebo testing has one group getting the new drug, while the others take a placebo. Doctors do not know who has which, nor do the test subjects. For vaccines, however, doctors are aware of which patients have the vaccine and which patients are taking a placebo. Placebos, under vaccine testing, are different than the typical saline placebo, as they include harsh, toxic ingredients, much like the vaccines themselves, so differences between groups are minimized. There are also smaller group samples with vaccines with no long-term follow-up, and with side effects often ignored.
For drug companies, there is little reason to improve safety for vaccines as they are already immune from lawsuits, allowing profits with no losses. In fact, vaccines are labeled as “unavoidably unsafe,” meaning they are incapable of being made safer for the public, even though vaccines from the 1960s used old technologies. Even the manufacturer inserts provide details about the dangerous side effects of vaccines.
The billions in revenue the media receives from pharmaceutical ads make them reluctant to bite the hand that feeds them. In fact, the media and pharmaceutical companies collaborated to petition the government to allow more pharmaceutical ads on TV, to the financial benefit of both. These enormous sums of money clearly influence their reporting on pharmaceutical drug and vaccine stories.
Doctors, also, are not resistant to the draw of money. An analysis of the Open Payment platform that reflects industry payments to doctors shows that between 2013-2022, nearly 12 billion in payments were made to doctors by pharmaceutical companies.
The federal government, itself, has already paid out over 5 billion to 6,000 children injured or killed by a vaccine, and therefore, cannot claim that vaccines are without risk, even as the FDA has approved vaccines as safe products. As the biggest pharmaceutical customer, the government also has employees receiving kickbacks on vaccines, while the CDC owns 57 vaccine patents, revealing problematic conflicts of interest.
That vaccines don’t have side effects is a misnomer. Everyone from government scientists, doctors, journals, and more have confirmed side effects to measles vaccines, with manufacturer inserts noting 70 side effects, auto-immune diseases, and links to autism. A study by the School of Public Health at Jackson State University revealed that vaccinated children were four times more likely to be diagnosed with autism than unvaccinated children. As for confirmation, the US government’s VAERS system, a database of injuries and deaths from vaccines, reported nearly 90,000 injuries between 1990 and 2019, as well as nearly 300 deaths from the measles vaccine alone. Worse, a Harvard study reveals that less than 1 percent of adverse effects are reported to the VAERS system, suggesting that vaccines are significantly more problematic than even the VAERS results reflect. Being ignored because of trillions in liability, there is no follow-up to determine why some individuals have negative effects from vaccines.
Vaccines are not safe for everyone. To continue to receive FDA approval, the government and its pharmaceutical partners must identify those children before the vaccines are given. Whatever the outcome, the decision to vax or not to vax should be left to parents and doctors based on facts, not propaganda.
