Leftist Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel once said, “You never let a serious crisis go to waste”. In the era of Coronavirus, such an opportunity presented itself. Whether the virus was leaked from a Wuhan lab or came from a dirty bat at a wet market, this was a once-in-a-lifetime chance for the ruling class to consolidate power, and boy did they.
In Dr. Joseph Mercola and Ronnie Cummins's 2021 book, “The Truth About COVID-19”, the authors investigate the facts behind both the virus itself and the bureaucratic response that followed. By questioning its origins, its virulence, its treatments, and its consequences, the authors seek to separate the official narrative from actual reality. Whether a planned event or an opportunity waiting to happen, the global elites took actions that incited universal fear, consolidated wealth on a massive scale, and undermined businesses, and individuals, yet had the unexpected benefit of separating the inquisitive wheat from the compliant chaff.
The official confirmation of the virus was made on March 11, 2020, by World Health Organization (WHO) officials. And despite China’s January 2020 report that patient zero was a scientist in a Wuhan lab, a debate over its origin followed. The lab leak theory was deemed conspiratorial for the bulk of 2020 until allegations of US involvement in financing the weaponizing of the coronavirus saw the light of day in 2021. From the start, the pandemic was carefully crafted by acronym organizations like the World Health Organization (WHO), the Center for Disease Control (CDC), and the World Economic Forum (WEF) among others.
From the moment the first case was identified, a succession of errors ensued. The response to the virus began with reliance on bad modeling from England. Case counts and hospitalization were manipulated by unreliable PCR testing. Death by medical errors, particularly the misuse of ventilators, along with blue state Governors returning COVID-19-positive patients to nursing homes, drove up COVID-19 death counts. By Fall 2020, the coroner criteria for reporting COVID-19 deaths were quietly changed. Any treatment therapies, especially those promoted by the Abominable Mr. Trump, were suppressed in favor of vaccines.
Throughout the COVID panic, we watched as experts changed definitions to save crumbling narratives, from what qualified as a pandemic, to new explanations for cases and infections. Both herd immunity and vaccines were redefined when needed. Herd immunity, which began as immunization by infection or vaccination, was abruptly changed in November 2020, to reflect protection came from vaccines only. When the vaccines arrived and didn’t work as planned, their definition, too, was amended to indicate that vaccines provided protection only, not immunity. Then, what qualifies as an anti-vaxxer, was also updated to include those who oppose vaccine mandates, not just the vaccines, themselves.
Comorbidities including diabetes, high blood pressure, and other chronic diseases drove COVID deaths, while obesity and overall poor health put many at risk. CDC reporting showed that only a scant 3 percent of COVID deaths were caused by the virus itself, sans any existing disease. The high use of pharmaceuticals to treat maladies had people unprepared for a highly contagious virus. Ironically, gyms were closed, and outdoor activities were banned in some communities, adding to poor health results. Calls for healthy eating, exercise, use of vitamins, and good rest, were non-existent despite their obvious benefits against COVID. Natural immunity, for the first time, was dismissed as unscientific. Test cases like Sweden, Florida, and others were vilified for not parroting the experts, even though their superior outcomes disprove prevailing actions.
Vaccine passports were implemented for a vaccine that didn’t provide immunization. Since the vaccinated were susceptible to infections, hospitalizations, deaths, and spreading of the disease, mandates were never meant to slow infections or to beat the virus, but for social control. China’s social credit system was floated as a prototype for future surveillance and compliance with COVID mandates, providing a ready opportunity for a universal reset of the economy and rebuilding of a new social structure.
If the damage done to medical establishments wasn’t enough, the bureaucratic response to the virus would have a devastating domino effect. Under the façade of protection, lockdowns were implemented to slow the spread. While big business was deemed essential, small firms had no such luck. Expanded lockdowns closed schools, churches, gyms, and even beaches. As a result, unemployment soared. Collateral damage from these measures resulted in increased suicides, domestic abuse, drug overdoses, and missed cancer screenings. Censorship ended any, and all skepticism or inquiry against the prevailing narrative. The economy turned south, and political polarization followed.
Organizations from the UN to the corporate press, to social media giants geared up to stop misinformation. But it wasn’t misinformation they deplatformed, it was alternative opinion and inquiry. All sang from the same authoritarian songbook.
Was the coronavirus pandemic planned or did the global and bureaucratic elites just hit the jackpot with the COVID-19 virus? As the dots continue to be connected, it’s only a matter of time before the real story of COVID is finally revealed.
